Fant et artig tips tilfeldigvis, som may or may not be of interest.

While there are a lot of options out there that can be used to replace the factory brake hoses with longer aftermarket hoses, I prefer using the simplest of the available options.  I’d read an article on  www.4x4wire.com (http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/brakes/brakehoses/) by Rick Boiros in which he mentions that the brake lines off of a  1980 Chevrolet C-30 will bolt in on the later CJ’s.  He didn’t have a part number, and hadn’t tried it himself, but I figured that now was a good opportunity to put the 1980 Chevy brake lines to the test.  After a few minutes at Autozone.com I found the part number for the left side was 77240 (Brakeware), and the right side was 77241.  The lines cost me $17 and $19 respectively, and my local Autozone actually had them in stock!

Noe av problemet med amerikanske tips om alternative deler er at der er prisforskjellen sett med deres øyne stor.

Her i Norge koster antagelig bremseslanger til 1980 mod. Chevrolet mer enn det koster å bestille Jeep ettermarked slanger direkte fra USA. Bestiller man Chevrolet slanger fra USA blir prisforskjellen ofte minimal når frakt og MVA legges til....

Og finner du brukte slanger på en hugger fra en 1980 mod Chevrolet vil du ikke ha dem på jeepen din. Det er feil måte å spare penger på...
