Welcome to JCN Summer Camp 2007.
This years Summer Camp will take place on Evjemoen just outside Kristiansand. It is an old millitary training facility with different kinds of terrain.
Some new things that is organized this year is a course for newbie`s. With some teoreticals on friday and practical driving with an instructor on saturday.
Various competitions on saturday with nice prices to be won!!!
Full program will be presented within a week and from 10 of may it will be possible to register. Every body pre registrated befor 1 of June, recieves a special surprise on arraival!.

Don't know how you intend to get here, but www.masterferries.com has the fastest ferry, Hanstholm in Denmark to Kristiansand.
Colorline has several going to/from various places in Denmark to Norway.
www.kystlink.no has a ferrry between Hirtshals and Langesund.
And finally, i'm going to Assen 2 weeks after the Jeep camp, but not with the Jeep...

Unfortunately we had already booked the boot from Kiel to Gothenborg.
We'll stay two weeks in Norway.
On Monday the 11the of June, we planned to ride on Svinndal, maybe we'll meet some Jeepers there
(instead of there weekly meeting somewere in Oslo ::))?
But we'll sure meet you in Evjemoen! 8)

I am very impressed!! So far 5 cars and 14 people from the Netherlands has registered!
Hope everybody comes and there ar plenty of space for more long distance travellers!

It looks like there will be a rather big convoy of Jeeps leaving Oslo on friday. I assume it will leave Oslo around 11 AM. It would be cool if you joined us. There have been discussed if we should choose som scenic roads and keep off the "highway" ;)
Info will be posted here, when things are decided.

We have not made a deal so far regarding the camping site. We are trying to rent the whole place so we can give our members / participants a good choice wether tent or a room. So far it is no problem to offer enough indoor beds to everyone, but the deal is not done. There are not camping huts but millitary personell buildings with 2, 4, 6, 10 and 12 beds rooms. More info will come during next week!
There are several possibilities, and two of them are at the offroadsite. This is the ones we are working to get a good deal with!

The camping is no almost in order. So the booking has started. It is the old barracks ( lightly refurnished ) with bedrooms for 4 to 10 people. Shower and kitchen is on the 1st floor, open for everyone.
The price will probably be around 125,- for adults per person per night and 50% discount for kids under 12 years. Payment on arraival. There will also be a camping site for tents and camping trailers. the price is NOK 75,- per person per night and 50% discount for kids under 12 years.
Please send your reservation to stein@jeepclubnorway.no with information regarding arrival / departure, and how many people.

Due to the non existing kitchen facilities at the camp site ( Only barbeque grills ) we have included breakfast on both saturday and sunday for everybody.
Additional we would like to present a offer for a complete "food intake" For 170,- ( children age 12 or less is 100,- ) you can get the breakfast, lunch ( bread ) and a barbeque buffee with porkchops, hot dogs, baked potato, potato salad and green salad with dressing.
We have to be a certain amount of people to get this offer. So if you are interested, send a mail to stein@jeepclubnorway.no with number of people joining.

This road is more scenic than the "highway" E18
There will also be people leaving at a later time from Oslo 12.00 (?) but they haven't posted anything yet about arranging a "convoy"
